Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 Hrs
3 Cups Peaches
1 Cup Pears
3/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Tapioca
1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
5 Slices of butter on the very top of pie
Mix peeled and skinned peaches and pears with sugar, tapioca, lemon juice and cornstarch in a large bowl. Let stand 15 minutes and then pour into pie crust.
Add butter on the top before putting on the top crust. Poke holes in the top crust to let air out while baking.
Pie Crust:
1/2 cup Crisco
1 Cup Flour
3 Tablespoons Cold Water
Shake of Salt
This will make one crust for the bottom of the pie, repeat crust recipe for the top of the pie again. This pie is outstanding!!!
